Scenting Winter
Nov. 17th, 2010 02:11 pmI smelled Winter on November 2nd this year. The urge to hibernate (or at least take long naps) is getting stronger. So is the urge to hunt, to gather in and cache as much as possible before the snows come (despite the convenience of modern supermarkets).
The phantom shifts have been much more frequent in the past couple of weeks. Even as I'm typing this my hands feel clumsy from paws and claws. Nursing while shifted has been very enjoyable, though. I find that the lying down position works the best, really letting my feline stretch out while the boy feeds.
